The government is not doing well on economic matters. So I think, the president of Grupo Iberostar, Hotels & Resorts, Miguel Fluxá. He considers that the Executive, although it has good intentions, is wrong “in many things. He believes that raising taxes without being relaunched the economy is still far wrong.

Luis Herault,Iberostar Marketing Director, Miguel Fluxa, Iberostar President and Antonio Banderas

Entrepreneurs, we do not refuse to pay taxes, because there are social needs to be covered, but if they are justified, he added. Fluxá made the remarks in the Riviera Maya, where the chain introduced the advertising campaign starring Antonio Banderas and which has the theme On vacation, we are all stars.  Hosteltur, as reported yesterday, the actor, who appears in the photo next to Fluxá and general director of marketing for the company, Luis Herault, has signed an agreement with Mallorca chain for the next three years, for which they have not specified the investment.

We do not feel supported by the Government. It does collaborate with us in some ways but not enough, he lamented, adding that dialogue between the government and employers is essential, but slow in coming.

CANCUN, Mexico . Bruce Beresford-Redman, who produced such shows as “Pimp My Ride” and “Survivor,” was freed from Mexican custody early Friday, but remains under investigation for his wife Monica Beresford-Redman’s murder.

The 38-year-old Hollywood producer cannot leave Mexico until police conclude their investigation, Quintana Roo state investigator Veronica Acacio said.

Police detained Bruce Beresford-Redman as a suspect Thursday after finding his wife’s body in a sewer at Cancun’s Moon Palace resort, where the family was on vacation.

Her body had scratches on the neck, signs of asphyxiation and a heavy blow to the right temple, said Francisco Alor, the attorney general for Quintana Roo state, where Cancun is located.

Cancun, Mexico.

It’s been two days and there is still no sign of Monica Beresford-Redman, wife of former “Survivor” producer Bruce Beresford-Redman.

Monica Beresford-Redman Found Dead

She was at the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun, Mexico with her husband and their two children. She left Monday to go shopping but never returned.

Carla Burgos, her sister, said Mexican police have finally started to investigate.

“We’re really lost. It’s like a really big mystery,” Burgos told CBS affiliate KCAL.

Bruce Beresford-Redman spoke to KCAL by phone Wednesday, but couldn’t say much because he was hoping to keep the phone lines clear.

I’m very hopeful someone will find my wife very soon.

She still hasn’t been located and we’re looking,” he told the station.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirms they have a missing person’s report and have notified the U.S. State Department and Embassy in Cancun.

In the meantime, family members said they are pleading for the public’s help in this case asking anyone with information to come forward.

Monica Beresford-Redman was set to return Thursday, which would have been her birthday.

“An ancient ritual”

Only he who carries on his lips the power of prayer; only he who keeps the gratitude of an offering in his lap; only he who considers the physical effort to be a form of sacrifice, know the profound meaning of taking part of a pilgrimage like the Sacred Mayan Journey.

In the Mexican Caribbean, and for about ten centuries, the ancient Maya went on pilgrimage to venerate the goddess Ixchel, the white-skinned, the goddess of the Moon cycles, the fertility, the art of weaving and painting, the medicine, the divination, the fishing and the storms.

Around 500 BC the pilgrimages to her oracle in the island of Cuzamil, today’s Cozumel, departed from the most remote cities in the Mayan world. The ports as Xamanhá, today’s Playa del Carmen, and Polé, today’s Xcaret, served as a bridge to cross the deep waters of the Caribbean and venerate Ixchel. By the mid 16th Century, the navigation to the Indies was prohibited by the Spanish crown and the shrine of Ixchel disappeared.

The project of the Sacred Mayan Journey was founded more than three years ago by Xcaret together with Cozumel and Solidaridad municipalities. Recovered from the written glyphs, narrated by the Chroniclers of the Indies and interpreted by the Maya culture specialists, today, Ixchel’s depiction helps us understand the intimate connection between the natural forces and the human nature. About 300 oarsmen made the contemporary history of this sacred journey, showing the world what discipline, attitude, faith and teamwork accomplish. The Sacred Mayan Journey is a shining example for Mexico to follow

Videos

It’s time to travel back to the past through the ancient tradition in which you are history.

Come & join us on May 20, 21 & 22, 2010 and rediscover an ancient tradition to honor the goddess Ixchel.
